1k <br />• An ordinance implementing a two-year implementation of the UUT relief <br />program will be presented to the City Council at its July 2, 2001 meeting. <br />• Provided that the City Council concurs with the Committee's Report, staff <br />will inform PG&E of the intent to introduce an ordinance to implement the <br />program to trigger the 60 to 90 days they require to effectuate the change in <br />tax collection. <br />c) Overtime Usage Schedule <br />• Staff presented an Overtime Summary showing Budget vs. Actual Use for <br />1999-00 and 2000-01 (Year to date), and the proposed Overtime Budget for <br />2001-02. <br />• The Committee thanked staff for the information and commented that the <br />City's residents should understand that the City does a good job of <br />controlling its overtime use. <br />2. Update on City Investment Policy <br />• Staff presented a copy of the City of San Leandro Investment Policy <br />Statement dated June 2001. Annual Council review of the Investment Policy <br />is required by State Law. <br />• No changes were proposed in the Investment Policy <br />• The two latest Quarterly Investment Reports will be reviewed with the <br />Council during the July meeting. <br />3. Public Comments <br />• Mr. Lou Filipovich addressed the Committee on the subject of means testing <br />in the implementation of City taxes. <br />4. Committee Member Comments <br />5. Adjourn <br />• Committee Member Santos complimented staff on their responsiveness in <br />dealing with Council and community questions on the proposed Budget. <br />• Committee Chair Young echoed Mr. Santos' sentiments. <br />• The Committee Meeting was adjourned at 11:18 a.m. <br />!� <br />
