Jermanis <br />C anager M 0 <br />�000— �5 <br />D3-O(0-00 <br />(iogg/iocq) <br />By: Elizabeth Greene, Project PlannerAjj <br />Subject: A-99-1, Zoning Code Amendment: To rezone a property (14969 Washington <br />Avenue) from Residential Single -Family (RS) to Commercial Service with a <br />Planned Development overlay (CS(PD)) or to another commercial district such as <br />Community Commercial (CC), and <br />PD-99-7, Planned Development: To allow the development of a limited vehicle <br />maintenance business which may include open vehicle storage at the rear of the <br />site to accommodate a maximum of five vehicles waiting for repair. The site <br />would also be used for storage for up to 20 recreational vehicles (RVs) and/or <br />boats. A site for a possible telecommunications tower is also proposed. The <br />existing dwelling unit at the front of the site will be retained and a 2,722 square - <br />foot frame shop for pulling vehicle frames will be added. Some framework will <br />occasionally be performed outside the frame shop. <br />SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATION <br />The applicant has requested that the matter be continued 60 days from the March 6, 2000 <br />meeting date. Please see the attached letter requesting continuance. <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approves the request and continue the matter to its May <br />1, 2000 regular meeting date.
