The <br />subject property is located at the northeast corner of San Leandro Boulevard and <br />Thornton Street, Assessor's Parcel Number 75-28-9-2, Westco Community <br />Builders Inc.; and <br />Vesting Tentative Map Tract No. 7183: 5 unit subdivision creating individual <br />parcels for each of the proposed townhouse units <br />SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATION <br />This rezoning, planned unit development and tract map will permit the development of this <br />13,400 square foot site with 5 townhouse units to be offered for sale. The units will all have <br />three -bedrooms and two baths with a living area of 1310 square feet. Each unit will have an <br />attached two -car garage. <br />At its meeting of January 27, 2000, the Planning Commission voted to recommend to the City <br />Council approval of A-99-7, PD-99-8 and Vesting Tentative Map Tract 7183 (MSC <br />Collier/Mahoney, 6 Ayes, 0 Noes, 1 Absent — Burpee) subject to the findings and conditions of <br />approval as amended. <br />The Planning Commission and staff recommend that the City Council take the following actions: <br />A. Approve the rezoning of the property from RM-1800 Multiple Residential to RM-3000 <br />(PD) Multiple Residential Planned Development Overlay District; and <br />
