not be interpreted as requiring the City to fill each <br />temporary vacancy by an acting assignment. <br />For the period of the Memorandum of Understanding, <br />Administrative Specialist Police, Police Services Aides, <br />and Dispatchers who are assigned for at least thirty (30) <br />consecutive days to a duty assignment which is required to <br />be staffed twenty-four hours per day, seven days a week, <br />shall receive a total of One Hundred Dollars ($100) per <br />month pay differential when so assigned. It is recognized <br />and agreed that the work day for Police Services Aides will <br />be eight (8) hours and fifteen (15) minutes, which will <br />include a fifteen (15) minute period for briefing and roll <br />call. During this work day, a meal break may be taken only <br />if the work situation so permits. The Police Services Aide <br />who regularly performs administrative secretary duties, the <br />Police Services Aide who perform clerical duties in the <br />Investigation Division, the Police Services Aide who <br />performs duties in the Warrants Section, and the Police <br />Services Aide who performs D.A. Court Liaison and witness <br />duties shall receive a total of Twenty -Five Dollars ($25) <br />per month pay differential when so assigned. <br />For the period of this Memorandum of Understanding, up to <br />fourteen (14) Police Services Aide positions with a <br />communications assignment shall receive a 10% pay <br />differential. For the period of time that Police Service <br />Aide is acting as a trainer in either a records or <br />communications assignment, he/she shall receive an <br />additional 5% pay differential. <br />Full-time Administrative Specialist -Police, Dispatcher, and <br />Police Services Aides who are required to maintain uniforms <br />shall be allowed a uniform allowance of Four Hundred <br />Dollars ($400.00). Effective January 1, 2001, the uniform <br />allowance shall be increased to Four Hundred Thirty -Five <br />Dollars ($435.00). <br />Section 21.
