A copy of the April 1, 1999, Planning Commission staff report and minutes of the <br />Planning Commission public hearing on April 8, 1999, are attached for your review. <br />Planning Commission Vote: <br />MSC to forward PD-99-1 to the City Council for approval <br />(MSC CollierlRavenstad 7 Ayes) <br />The Planning Commission recommends that the City Council take the following action: <br />1. Approve PD-99-1 by motion. <br />BACKGROUND <br />In the mid 1970's, San Leandro Boulevard was extended from Washington Avenue to East 10 <br />Street. The undeveloped property included in this proposal was a remnant of land resulting from <br />the street extension. The property was recently rezoned from RM-1800 Residential Multi - <br />Family District to IL (PD) Industrial Limited Planned Development Combining District. This <br />allowed the applicant to file a planned development for the proposed development. <br />The property has frontage on San Leandro Boulevard and Washington Avenue and backs up to <br />several two-story four -unit apartment buildings that front on Coburn Court. The site has an area <br />of approximately 22,903 square feet. <br />i <br />
