The City Council approved the Planned Development, PD-99- <br />8, for parcel located at the northeast corner of San Leandro Boulevard <br />and Thornton Street, Assessor's Parcel Number 75-28-9-2, subject to the <br />Findings and Conditions of Approval. <br />Matter of Anneal by Quentin Bammer, Applicant, of the Planning <br />15 <br />03-06-00 <br />1099/ <br />Commission's Denial of A-99-1 and PD-99-7; Planned Development and <br />1009 <br />Zoning Code Amendment; to Re -Zone a Property from Residential, Single - <br />Family (RS) to Commercial Service with a Planned Development Overlay CS <br />(PD) or to Another Commercial District Such as Community Commercial <br />(CC). This would allow the development of a limited, vehicle -maintenance <br />business, which may include open vehicle storage at the rear of the site to <br />accommodate a maximum of five vehicles waiting for repair. The site would <br />also be used for storage for up to 20 RV's and/or boats. A site for a possible <br />telecommunications tower is also proposed. The existing dwelling unit at the <br />front of the site will be retained and a frame shop for pulling vehicle frames <br />will be added.
