The City <br />— <br />04-03-00 <br />-- <br />Council discussed technology issues specifically related to the City Council <br />and reached consensus on the following: (1) Staff is to use E-Mail (by <br />whatever internet service is used) when appropriate to communicate with City <br />Council Members. (2)Staff is to use E-Mail to remind City Council Members <br />of meetings instead of leaving voice -mail messages. (3) Staff is to create a <br />document listing upcoming, monthly calendar events and use E-Mail to <br />transmit the monthly calendar event listing to the City Council instead of <br />sending out the current hard copy of the monthly calendar. (4) Staff is to <br />include Standing City Council Committee Meetings in the monthly calendar <br />listing for transmittal via E-Mail to the City Council instead of leaving voice - <br />mail messages to remind City Council Members of Standing Committee <br />Meetings. (5) Staff is to develop an amendment to the City Council <br />Members' Handbook that would reflect the results of a City Council Member <br />forwarding confidential information. <br />City Council Consensus (City Council Reports, Item 5.B.2.B). It was <br />— <br />04-03-00 <br />— <br />suggested the Campaign Reform issue be discussed by the entire City Council <br />at a future Work Session after the Rules and Communications Committee has <br />completed their work. <br />City Council Consensus (City Council Reports, Item 5.B.2.C).
