Cost: $28,100.00. The City Council requested that staff <br />provide the following, additional information regarding the Pedestrian <br />Safety Program, and continued the matter to a date uncertain: <br />(1) "Evidence" of success of this program; i.e., has their been a <br />reduction in bicycle accidents, information on helmet use — has it <br />increased? (2) More information regarding the issue of bicycle theft <br />and bic cle security. 3 Program Schedule showing dates and locations. <br />Accountant H and Accountant I; Matter of Authorization to Create the New <br />26 <br />05-03-99 <br />1079 <br />Classification of Accountant II, to Retitle the Existing Classification of <br />Accountant to Accountant I, and to Amend the Pay Plan to Provide a Salary <br />Range for Said New Classification of Accountant II. (requests authorization <br />from City Council to effect these classification changes and amend the Pay <br />Plan for the new classification). The City Council authorized the creation of <br />the new classification of Accountant II and retitling the existing <br />classification of Accountant to Accountant L <br />27 <br />05-03-99 <br />1315 <br />Vice Mayor, Matter of Appointment of. The City Council re -appointed <br />Gordon Galvan as Vice Mayor. <br />Matter of Appeal by Reed Onate, Trumark Companies, of the Planning <br />28 <br />05-17-99 <br />2167 <br />Commission's Denial of A-98-9; Reclassification from CC Community <br />1099 <br />Commercial District to RS (PD) Residential, Single -Family, Planned <br />1009 <br />Development Overlay District; and PD-98-3 and Vesting Tentative Map, <br />2863 <br />Tracts 7092 and 7093; Planned Development and Vesting Tentative Maps to <br />Construct 60, Single -Family Cluster Homes and 10 Duet/Townhouses (70 total <br />units) on a 5.93-Acre Site; 14363 Chapman Road and 701 Fremont Avenue; <br />Bounded by Fremont Avenue on the West, Chapman Road on the East, and <br />Northerly of the Shopping Center on Floresta Boulevard Between Washington <br />Avenue and Fremont Avenue; Assessor's Parcel Numbers 77B-1165-2-5; 2-6; <br />3-2; 4-2; 5-2; and 11; Trumark Companies. The City Council set aside the <br />Appeal by Reed Onate, Trumark Companies, of the Planning <br />Commission's Denial of A-98-9, PD-98-3, and Vesting Tentative Map, <br />Tracts 7092 and 7093, and approved, in concept: (See Minute Order No. <br />99-28, Items 1-3 fors ecifics. <br />
