The City Council approved the appointments to a <br />Citizens' Ad Hoc Committee on Refuse Services Regarding Refuse <br />Services and the Refuse Enterprise Fund, as follows: (See Minute Order <br />No. 99-42 for names of the Committee Members. <br />West San Leandro/MacArthur Boulevard Redevelopment Proiect Area, <br />Options Regarding Adoption of the Final Redevelopment Plan for the. <br />43 <br />06-14-99 <br />1120 <br />The City Council selected Option 3 of the staff report, which included <br />changes to the Draft Development Plan as follows: (See Minute Order <br />No. 99-43 forspecifics.) <br />Refuse Enterprise Fund; Matter of Giving Notice of Refuse Enterprise Fund <br />44 <br />06-14-99 <br />1051/ <br />Rate Increases. The City Council approved the matter of giving notice of <br />1078/ <br />Refuse Enterprise Fund rate increases and set the required Public <br />1934 <br />Hearing for August 2, 1999, at 7:00 p.m. <br />Budget, Matter of 1999-2000. The City Council approved the City of San <br />45 <br />06-21-99 <br />1051 <br />Leandro Budget, with the provision that the Budget go back to the City <br />Council Finance Committee to review the recommended cutbacks and to <br />make recommendations regarding modifications to the Budget, as they <br />find necessary. <br />Classification Changes; Matter of Authorization to Create the New <br />46 <br />06-21-99 <br />1079 <br />Classifications of Environmental Services Manager, Environmental Protection <br />Specialist III, Environmental Protection Specialist II, and Environmental <br />Protection Specialist I; to Delete the Hazardous Materials Coordinator, <br />Hazardous Materials Inspector, Environmental Compliance Coordinator, and <br />Environmental Compliance Inspector. The City Council authorized creation <br />of the new classifications of Environmental Services Manager, <br />Environmental Protection Specialist III, Environmental Protection <br />Specialist II, and Environmental Protection Specialist I; and deletion of <br />the Hazardous Materials and Environmental Compliance Classifications. <br />Matter of A-99-2; Reclassification from CC Community Commercial District <br />47 <br />07-19-99 <br />1099/ <br />to CC (PD) Community Commercial Planned Development Overlay District; <br />1009 <br />and PD-99-2; Planned Development to Construct a 120-Room Hotel and a <br />150,000-Square-Foot, Self -Storage Facility; 524-526 Lewelling Boulevard; <br />Assessor's Parcel Number 412-11-1-7; K. Carter, Cubix Construction <br />Company, Applicant; S. Boersma, Property Owner. The City Council <br />continued the matter of A-99-2 and PD-99-2 to the September 7, 1999, <br />City Council Meeting. <br />
