Project Description: A planned development to construct 25-two-story townhouse units. This planned development consists of three separate parcels. Two of the parcels are zoned RM- 1800(PD). The vacant parcel fronting on San Leandro Boulevard is zoned RM-1800. To be included in the planned development, it must be rezoned to RM-1800(PD). Each of the homeowners in this development will own the unit and the lot on which is is located. Findings of Exemption (attach required findings): The City Council approved the proposal to construct twenty-five, two-story townhomes at 1762 and 1770 San Leadnro Boulevard. An initial study has been conducted to evaluate potential adverse environmental impacts. The City Council finds and determines that, when considering the record as a whole, there is no evidence before the City that the proposed project will have potential for an adverse effect on wildlife resources or the habitat on which wildlife depends. The City Council, based on the substantial evidence incorporated on the initial study, negative declaration, and staff reports dated May 22, 1998 and June 9, 1998, rebuts to presumption of adverse effect provided in Section 753.5 (d) of Title 14, California Code of Regulations.
