CITY COUNCIL OF SAN LEANDRO <br />MINUTE ORDER <br />NO. 99-50 <br />SUBJECT: Storm Water, Matter of Adoption of Proposed <br />Rate Increase for Storm Water Service Charges <br />MEETING DATE: August 17, 1998 <br />Minute Order No. 98-50, Matter of Adoption of Proposed Rate Increase for Storm Water <br />Service Charges. (1051/1221/2318) <br />The City Council rejected the proposed rate increase for Storm Water service charges, leaving the <br />storm water fee at $2.19 per month, and approved staff recommendations nos. 2 and 3 on page 2 <br />of the "Revised Schedule for User Fee Service Rates," as follows: <br />2. Street sweeping in residential areas of San Leandro will be reduced to only once per <br />month, effective October 1998. Residents and neighborhood associations will be <br />notified of the revised schedule so that vehicles can be moved on sweeping days. <br />3. The capital improvement project for replacement of the Washington Avenue Pump <br />Station will be deferred beyond 1998-99 and transferred to the Capital Improvement <br />Fund. <br />M/S/C Galvan and Loeffler.
