This project was reviewed by the Planning Commission at their October 8, 1998 meeting, and the applicant was asked to provide additional information. Staff recommends that the City Council continue this hearing to November 16, 1998, to allow the Planning Commission to get the information they need to make a recommendation. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION Staff has been working with the applicant on a proposal to convert existing service bays into a convenience store at the Chevron station located at 15018 Hesperian Boulevard. Because this is a change to an existing Planned Development, this change is considered an amendment to a Planned Development and must go through the Planned Development process. The Planning Commission evaluated the proposal at their October 8, 1998 meeting. The Commissioners were concerned about circulation issues on the site and needed additional information in order to make a decision on the proposal. The Planning Commission continued the item until October 22, 1998, to give the applicant time to gather the necessary information. Due to this action by the Planning Commission, staff recommends that the City Council continue this item from the scheduled October 19, 1998 meeting, to the November 16, 1998 City Council meeting.
