(San Leandro <br />Municipal Code, Section 1-1-310) <br />RESOLUTIONS: ADOPTION/EFFECTIVE DATE <br />Each Resolution shall become effective upon adoption, or at a later date specified within. <br />ORDINANCES: ADOPTION <br />No ordinance shall be adopted within five (5) days after its passage to print. (San <br />Leandro Municipal Code, Section 1-1-330) <br />ORDINANCES: ALTERATION PROHIBITED <br />No ordinance shall be altered as to a matter of substance after its passage to print. <br />Correction of typographical or clerical errors shall not constitute alteration as to a matter <br />of substance. (San Leandro Municipal Code, Section 1-1-335) <br />ORDINANCES: EFFECTIVE DATE <br />Each ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its adoption, or at a later date <br />specified therein. <br />Notwithstanding the above reference, an ordinance may be introduced and adopted at the <br />same meeting, and shall be effective upon adoption, if it is an ordinance: <br />a) relating to an election; <br />b) for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health or safety, <br />containing a declaration of the facts constituting the urgency; <br />c) relating to public improvement proceedings; <br />d) relating to taxes for the usual and current expenses of the City; <br />e) annexing territory to the City; <br />f) covered by particular provisions of law prescribing the manner of its passage <br />and adoption. <br />(San Leandro Municipal Code, Section 1-1-345) <br />g2 <br />XAIW <br />
