MOTION <br />Page 3 <br />Matter of A-97-11; Reclassification from IG Industrial <br />General District to IG (PD) Industrial General Planned <br />98-8 02-17-98 1099/ Development Overlay District; and PD-97-9; Planned <br />1009 Development to Add a Convenience Store with a Drive-Thru <br />Lane for Beverages; i.e., Coffee, at an Existing Self -Serve <br />Gas Station; 2180 Merced Street, Northeast Corner of Merced <br />Street and Marina Boulevard; Assessor's Parcel Number 79A- <br />338-4-8; RHL Design Group, Applicant; Nella Oil Company, <br />Property Owner; IG Industrial General District. The City <br />Council approved the Rezoning of A-97-11 to IG (PD) <br />Industrial General Planned Development Overlay District and <br />approved the Planned Development, PD-97-9, subject to the <br />Conditions of Approval, and directed staff to return in six <br />(6) months with a traffic -circulation and hours -of -operation <br />report. <br />San Leandro Police Officers' Association, Matter of <br />Memorandum of Understanding Between the City of San Leandro <br />98-9 02-17-98 1385 and the (provides for a 36-month contract with the San <br />Leandro Police Officers' Association for the period March 1, <br />1998 through February 28, 2001). The City Council approved <br />the Memorandum of Understanding Between the City of San <br />Leandro and the San Leandro Police Officers' Association. <br />Directional Signs Policy; Resolution Approving an <br />Administrative Policy for the Placement of Directional Signs <br />98-10 02-17-98 1049 for Business Districts, Recreational Facilities, Religious <br />Institutions, Government Facilities, and Shopping Centers in <br />the Public Right of Way (provides for a uniform, <br />directional -sign program to direct residents and visitors to <br />important destinations within the City). The City Council <br />continued the matter of a Resolution Approving an <br />Administrative Policy for the Placement of Directional Signs <br />for Business Districts, Recreational Facilities, Religious <br />Institutions, Government Facilities, and Shopping Centers in <br />the Public Right of Way to the March 2, 1998, City Council <br />Meeting, and directed staff to return to Council with an <br />indepth report and proposed overall policy on the size/color <br />of signs, and a plan to reduce the number and location of <br />them throughout the City. <br />Adding Emergency Item to the Agenda Regarding a Resolution <br />Authorizing Creation of 1998 Storm Emergency Fund, Matter <br />98-11 02-17-98 2648/ of. The City Council approved the Motion to place an <br />2841 emergency item on the Agenda regarding a Resolution <br />Authorizing Creation of 1998 Storm Emergency Fund. <br />
