The City Council accepts the Port of <br />98-18 03-16-98 1270/ Oakland's invitation to participate in the newly formed <br />1215 "Oakland Airport -Community Noise Management Forum," but <br />declined contributing $1,000 annually toward the cost of the <br />Forum. <br />Matter of A-98-2; Amendment to the San Leandro Zoning Code <br />and the San Leandro Municipal Code Regarding Adult -Oriented <br />98-19 04-06-98 1099 Businesses (provides for the regulation and licensing of <br />adult -oriented businesses in keeping with recent court <br />decisions; allows adult -oriented businesses to locate in the <br />IP Industrial Park Districts if they comply with licensing <br />and minimum -proximity requirements). The City Council <br />continued the Matter of A-98-2; Amendment to the San Leandro <br />Zoning Code and the San Leandro Municipal Code Regarding <br />Adult -Oriented Businesses, to the April 20, 1998, City <br />Council Meeting. <br />Matter of A-98-2; Amendment to the San Leandro Zoning Code <br />and the San Leandro Municipal Code Regarding Adult -Oriented <br />98-20 04-20-98 1099 Businesses (provides for the regulation and licensing of <br />adult -oriented businesses in keeping with recent court <br />decisions; allows adult -oriented businesses to locate in the <br />IP Industrial Park Districts if they comply with licensing <br />and minimum -proximity requirements). The City Council <br />closed the Public Hearing; continued the Matter of A-98-2 <br />for up to sixty (60) days; and directed that this matter be <br />rescheduled and renoti ced for return to the Council as a <br />Public Hearing. <br />Matter of A-98-2; Amendment to the San Leandro Zoning Code <br />and the San Leandro Municipal Code Regarding Adult -Oriented <br />98-21 04-20-98 1099 Businesses (provides for the regulation and licensing of <br />adult -oriented businesses in keeping with recent court <br />decisions; allows adult -oriented businesses to locate in the <br />IP Industrial Park Districts if they comply with licensing <br />and minimum -proximity requirements). The City Council <br />extended the Moratorium Prohibiting the Processing and <br />Approval of Use Permits, Variances, Building Permits, or <br />Other Zoning Entitlements for Adult Entertainment <br />Establishments Which May Conflict with Proposed Zoning <br />Ordinances and Zoning Map Amendments to May 20, 1998. <br />
