The City <br />Council rescinded Resolution No. 98-26, which approved a <br />Lease Agreement and other documents between the San <br />Francisco Bay Conference Center Resort, L.L.C., and the City <br />of San Leandro Regarding the Network Conference Center. <br />Transbay Transit Terminal and Ramps, Matter of Discussion of <br />Proposed Closure of (provides for discussion of request from <br />98-34 06-01-98 1057 <br />A. C. Transit District to adopt a resolution in opposition <br />to the closure of the Transbay Transit Terminal and ramps). <br />The City Council, by consensus, requested that staff put the <br />Resolution in opposition to the closure of the Transbay <br />Transit Terminal and ramps on the City Council Agenda for <br />the June 15, 1998, City Council Meeting. <br />Matter of PD-97-10; A-98-4; and Vesting Tentative Map, Tract <br />7001; 1762 and 1770 San Leandro Boulevard and 1707 and 1761 <br />98-35 06-15-98 1099/ <br />Carpentier Street (the Area Bounded by Carpentier Street on <br />1009 <br />the East, Thornton Street on the North, and San Leandro <br />Boulevard on the West); Assessor's Parcel Numbers 75-27-2-1, <br />7-3 and 8; Westco Community Builders, Inc.; RM-1800 (PD) and <br />RM-1800. The City Council certified the Negative <br />Declaration for PD-97-10 as complete and in compliance with <br />CEQA requirements; approved the Rezoning of A-98-4 to RM- <br />1800 (PD) Residential, Multi -Family, Planned Development <br />Combining District; and approved the Planned Development, <br />PD-97-10, subject to the Conditions of Approval. <br />Alameda County Waste Management Authority, Representative <br />and Alternate, Matter of Appointment of City Council Members <br />98-36 06-15-98 2047 <br />to an Intergovernmental Agency. The City Council appointed <br />Council Member Shelia Young, as Representative, and Council <br />Member Joanne M. Lothrop, as Alternate, to the Alameda <br />County Waste Management Authority, to fill the remainder of <br />the two-year term, January 2, 1997 through December 31, <br />1998. <br />Finance Committee, Matters for Review and Recommendation by <br />the City Council's.
