Encroachment Permit with San Leandro. Prior to commencement of <br />11 construction, LAVWMA shall obtain an Encroachment Permit from the City of San <br />12 Leandro to minimize impacts of construction. Indemnity. Both parties shall operate and maintain their respective systems so <br />18 as not to damage the other parry's system. Each party shall hold the other free and <br />19 harmless from all liability or damages incurred by the other as a direct and proximate <br />20 result of any failure by such party to properly operate and maintain its system.
