Lawson, General Manager Livermore-Amador Valley Water Management Agency 623 West Myrick Court Clayton CA 94517-1648 Subject: LAVWMA Construction Project Dear Mr. Lawson: LAVWMA proposes to construct a pipeline through the City of San Leandro along Lewelling Boulevard to a connection point with the EBDA (East Bay Dischargers Association) bay discharge pipeline. Please be advised that the City will condition an encroachment permit for this construction permit to require: 1. Full landscape median with signage, irrigation, and a minimum two-year maintenance period along Lewelling Boulevard from Washington Avenue to Wicks Boulevard. 2. Installation of street trees and landscaping along the sidewalk area of Lewelling Boulevard from Washington Avenue to Wicks Boulevard. 3. Lighting improvements on Lewelling Boulevard including lighting improvements to the southside, or relocation of street lights to the median. 4. A $50,000 contribution for local sidewalk improvements. The City will also require to the extent of construction impacts associated with the overall prof ect: 1. Flashing school beacon on Fargo Avenue and Manor Boulevard depending on school realignment. 2.
