San Leandro Council Member Handbook | 20212022 <br />57 | Page <br /> <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION/BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENTS <br />Description of Board Duties: <br />The Commission shall: <br /> <br />(a) Hear and recommend to the Council on proposals to adopt, amend or repeal <br />a general plan for the physical development of the City; <br /> <br />(b) Exercise such functions with respect to land subdivisions, planning, zoning and <br />future right-of-way lines as are prescribed in Chapters 3, 13 and 16 of Title VII <br />of the San Leandro Municipal Code; <br /> <br />(c) Possess the powers and perform the duties prescribed by statute. <br /> <br /> <br />MEMBERSHIP: <br /> <br />Seven (7) Members (one member from each Council District/one at-large) <br />Four (4) Year Term <br /> <br />MEETING SCHEDULE: <br />Meets third Thursday of every month; 7:00 p.m., City Hall, Council Chambers <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
