Accounting for inflation, the median household income in San Leandro rose by 6.3 percent from 2010 to 2019, but Black/African American and Asian American households experienced a decrease in median household income while non-Hispanic white, Hispanic/Latino, American Indian and Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander households experienced an increase in median household income. Non-Hispanic white households experienced the greatest increase in median income. Hispanic/Latino and Black/African-American households were the only racial/ethnic groups with median household income below the citywide median income in 2019.
