IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2022-089 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE A <br />CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR $100,000 OF COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023 FUNDS <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND REBUILDING TOGETHER <br />OAKLAND EAST BAY FOR THE PROVISION OF MINOR HOME REPAIR GRANTS <br />WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and Rebuilding Together <br />Oakland East Bay, attached and incorporated herein, was presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE <br />as follows: <br />That said agreement with Rebuilding Together Oakland East Bay is hereby approved <br />and CDBG funds are hereby authorized in the amount of $100,000 for the Minor <br />Home Repair Grant Program. <br />2. That said agreement shall include grants for minor home repair, mobile home repair, <br />accessibility, exterior paint, exterior yard clean-up, and seismic strengthening and <br />shall include $28,000 for Program Administration in account 165-43-232-5120 and <br />72,000 for grants in account 165-43-232-8501. <br />That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute all agreements to effect this <br />Resolution. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Cox and passed and adopted this 21 st day of June 2022, by <br />the following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Aguilar, Azevedo, Cox, Lopez, and Cutter (5) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers Ballew and Simon (2) <br />ATTEST: *Wpi 6 avk' 'i'll <br />Leticia I.
