That on or about the 19th day of January, 1995, the City of San Leandro, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, having offices at 835 East 14th <br />Street, San Leandro, California, did enter into a certain contract with Monterey <br />Mechanical Company, 8275 San Leandro Street, Oakland, CA 94621 as Contractor, <br />for a certain work of improvement: To wit, Provides for replacement of the <br />existing deteriorated distributor mechanism for the Fixed Film Reactor, Project <br />No. 593-8552 of which said City is owner. <br />2. That the name of the sureties upon the bond of the Contractor for said work of <br />improvement are as follows: American Insurance Company. <br />3.
