In view of thcse�bmments. I <br />mcommcnd that the following revisions and clarifications be made in the post - <br />construction monitoring program dcscrbed on pages 10-14 of the November 25, 1992 <br />WCDP Addendum. <br />1. The City Engineer will be responsible for insuring that the WCDP <br />monitoring program is carried out and that the tidegates and other WCDP <br />facilities arc adequately maintained in perpetuity. The City Enginccr's address is: <br />Ciy of San Leandro Engine-cring and Transpormdon Department, 835 E. 14th <br />S trct, Second Floor, San Leandro, CA, 94577. <br />2. The hydrological monitoring described on page 10 shall be conducted during <br />the same season each year, with the specific dates of observation dependent on <br />tidal event_a. It is the intention to observe the hydrologic performance of the <br />WCDP over a full tidal cycle. <br />3. As -built drawings, including cross -sections across both channels and the :Harsh <br />plain, shall be submitted to the Corps within thr= months of complet.uig all initial <br />WCDP grading. The cross-secrions shall be monumented and shall be of <br />sufficient number to provide a reprtsentative indication of over-all marsh <br />topography. During the fifth year of monitoring, the same cross-secrions shall be <br />surveyed and the cross-section drawings submitted with that year's annual mpon. <br />A discussion of any significant elevation changes since construction will also be <br />provided. <br />0 <br />
