<br />Non-Professional Services Agreement between March 15, 2022 <br />City of San Leandro and SF Urban Film Fest Exhibit A Page 1 of 1 <br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />EVENT TITLE: Climate Justice Film Festival of the City of San Leandro <br />DATE: May 21, 2022 <br />LOCATION: Indoors at Boys and Girls Club of the City of San Leandro <br /> <br />Introduction: The City of San Leandro is organizing a day long Climate Justice Festival, including <br />its first ever Climate Justice Film Festival. The goals of the film festival are: (1) to increase the <br />diversity of attendees to City of San Leandro convenings on climate change and sustainability <br />including increasing representation of youth and people of color, among other groups; and (2) to <br />educate and inspire the general public on ways they can engage in reducing the effects of climate <br />change. <br /> <br />Contractor Scope of Work: <br /> <br />1. Curate Films: Curate 45-60 minutes of film, ideally for two screenings of 20-30 min each for a flat <br />Film Curation Fee of $1,000. SFUFF will curate approximately 4-7 short films and secure the film <br />rights for the films. Film rights fees to be paid to the filmmakers, or their distribution companies, are <br />additional expenses over and above the Film Curation Fee to SFUFF. SFUFF will notify the City of <br />San Leandro film rights fee estimates as soon as they are known to SFUFF. <br />2. Curate Panel Discussion: Curate panel discussion with 3-4 panelists and one moderator for a 45 <br />minute discussion for a flat Panelist Curation Fee of $1,000. Fay Darmawi, Executive Director, <br />SFUFF will coordinate closely with Sustainability Manager, Sustainability Manager, City of San <br />Leandro on framing the discussion and finding appropriate panelists. The Curation Fee does not <br />include panelist fees if the City of San Leandro decides to pay panelists. <br />3. Exclusions: SF Urban Film Fest is not responsible for event production or marketing. The City of <br />San Leandro is responsible for event production including securing the venue, renting A/V <br />equipment and hiring A/V personnel. The City of San Leandro is responsible for marketing and <br />promoting the event. <br /> <br />Production Schedule: <br />1. SFUFF and City of San Leandro contract signed: March 15 <br />2. Draft Lineup #1 of films and panelists: April 1 <br />a. Sustainability Manager send feedback on Draft #1 by: April 8 <br />b. SFUFF begins to secure films rights and panelists based on feedback: April 11 <br />c. Final revisions between April 15 and April 29 <br />3. Final Lineup: April 29 <br />4. “Save the Date” General Festival Announcement: say Monday, May 2 <br />5. Confirm Panelists between April 29 and May 9 <br />a. Panelist Prep Call week of May 9 <br />b. Detailed Lineup of Films and Panelists Announcement: Wed, May 11 <br />c.
