The following fees have been established by the City Council pursuant to various provisions of the <br />San Leandro Muncipal Code (SLMC), San Leandro Administrative Code (SLAC) or the general laws of the State of California. <br />ENGINEERING AND TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT <br />Description Current Fee Reference Proposed <br />1. General Encroachment SLMC 5-1-225 <br />A. Permit $ 50.00 <br />B. Inspection Direct Costs (1) <br />C. Trench Damage/Penalty Fee 5.00/linear ft. of trench for <br />streets under 2 yrs. old <br />3.00/linear ft. of trench for <br />streets over 2 yrs.-5 yrs. old <br />D. Inspection/Security Deposit As determined by City Engineer <br />to insure prompt, high quality <br />repairs and to cover estimated <br />inspection costs. <br />E. No Permit Penalty Fee Double inspection fee <br />F. Sidewalk Inspection <br />(1) Excluding City Contractor Work Direct Costs (1) <br />(2) Neighborhood Improvement Program 15% of Cost of Work Preformed <br />by City Contractor <br />(3) Annual Sidewalk Repair Program No Cost <br />2.
