95% Submittal - (1) Quantities and Cost Estimate in a three-ring binder. 100% Submittal - The Contractor shall submit (1) one set of signed and stamped mylar drawings; (2) three sets of prints; (3) 3.5" diskettes with complete files for all drawings, in AutoCad Ver. 12 compatible format; (4) one bound copy and one unbound copy of the specifications; (5) 3.5" diskettes with complete files for specification in either Microsoft Word 6.0 for Windows or WordPerfect 5.1 for DOS format; (6) design calculations in a three-ring binder; (7) Probable Construction Schedule; (8) Recommendations for Special Construction Procedures or Sequences All final drawings, specifications and calculations shall be signed and stamped by the appropriate registered engineer, licensed in the State of California. For all of the submittals that include drawings the Contractor shall provide one set of half -sized drawings on 11x17 sheet of bond paper. PHASE 3. BIDDING AND PERMIT SUPPORT 1. Technical services as follows: a. Building Permit - The Contractor shall provide copies of plans, specifications, and calculations as indicated above; assist in application for the building permit; and resolve questions that may arise during the permitting process. b. Pre -bid Conference - The Contractor shall attend the pre -bid meeting. C. Clarifications - The Contractor shall issue written clarifications to the drawings and specifications as necessary during the bid period. d. Bid Evaluations - The Contractor shall assist the City in evaluating the bids and shall make recommendations for awarding the construction contract. e. Pre -construction Conference - The Contractor shall attend a pre -construction meeting to go over the construction methods or procedures with the construction contractor.
