IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96 - 106 (1485/1083 ) <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING OWNERSHIP OF NORTH OFFICES BUILDING AND <br />PARKING AREA IN CIVIC CENTER COMPLEX FROM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />AS CONSIDERATION FOR REDUCING OUTSTANDING DEBT <br />In June, 1993, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro issued tax <br />allocation bonds to finance the construction of the North Offices Building and Public Parking <br />Area in the Civic Center Complex. Construction of the building is complete and the facility is <br />utilized by the City in providing a variety of services to the public. <br />The acquisition and construction value of the building and public parking area is <br />$6,593,156. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That ownership of the North Offices Building and Public Parking Area in the Civic <br />Center Complex is hereby accepted from the Redevelopment Agency as consideration for a <br />reduction in the amount of $6,593,156 in debt owed by the Redevelopment Agency to the City of <br />San Leandro. With this reduction, the outstanding debt due to the City of San Leandro as of June <br />30, 1996 is $3,882,724. This outstanding debt is allocated to the Plaza 1 and Plaza 2 Project <br />Areas as $1,031,523 and $2,851,201, respectively. <br />
