5/ For the period of March 1, 1996 through February 28, 1998, a uniform allowance of Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750) per fiscal year is allowed for full-time sworn non -management members of the Police Department who are required to purchase and maintain uniforms. Sworn members of the Police Department who are regularly assigned to motorcycle duty shall receive at the beginning of the assignment for the purchase of two (2) pairs of motor -cycle pants Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250). 6/ For the period commencing July 1, 1995, an annual uniform allowance of Seven Hundred Fifteen Dollars ($715) is allowed for sworn Police managers. 7/ Effective July 1, 1985, the Police Development Incentive Program pay increments shall be: Monthly Category Educ. /Cert. /Time Amount Legend: A P.B. + 3 years $100 B P.I. + 6 years 150 BAC. = Baccalaureate C P.A. + 10 years 180 P.A. = POST Advanced D Bac. + P.I. + 5 years 180 P.I. = POST Intermediate E Bac. + P.A. + 10 years 200 P.B. = POST Basic Only sworn employees hired prior to March 1, 1985 shall be eligible to participate in the Police Development Incentive Program. Payment shall be made by a separate check on or before June 5 and December 5 of each calendar year. Such Program shall terminate effective March 1, 1990. Those sworn employees participating in the Program at the time of termination shall continue to receive, by separate payment, that dollar amount which equals the level of education -experience category achieved as of the date of the Program's termination. Such payment shall not continue once an employee terminates employment as a sworn member of the San Leandro Police Department. 8/ For the period commencing July 1, 1995, Administrative Specialist -Police and Police Services Aides, Jailers and Public Safety Dispatchers who are assigned for at least thirty (30) consecutive days to a duty assignment which is required to be manned twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, shall receive a total of One Hundred Dollars ($100) per month pay differential when so assigned. For the period commencing July 1, 1995, the Police Services Aide who performs clerical duties in the Investigation Division, the Police Services Aide who performs duties in the Warrants Section, and the Police Services Aide who performs D.A. Court Liaison and witness duties shall receive a total of Twenty- five Dollars ($25) per month pay differential when so assigned. 9/ For the period of time that a Public Safety Dispatcher or Police Services Aide is acting as a trainer, he/she shall receive an additional five percent (5 %) pay differential. 12
