AMENDMENT TO HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT (COUNTY) AGREEMENT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS COUNTY OF ALAMEDA THIS AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is made at San Leandro, California, as of June 17, 1996, by and between the CITY OF SAN LEANDRO, (the "City"), and County of Alameda ("COUNTY"). This Amendment is made in contemplation of the following facts, understandings and intentions of the parties: A. On June 20, 1994, the City and County entered into an Agreement ("Agreement") pertaining to housing rehabilitation services for eligible residential property owners in San Leandro for the time period corresponding to the City's 1994-95 Fiscal Year, with an amount certain ($44,500), as agreed to in said Agreement. B. On July 17, 1995, the Agreement was amended to expand the Scope of Services provided by County to include the 1995-96 Fiscal Year. C. The City desires to amend the Agreement to expand the Scope of Services provided by County to include the 1996-97 Fiscal Year, July 1, 1996 through June 30, 1997, and to correspondingly increase the total amount of payment. NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: 1. EXHIBIT A, Scope of Services, shall be amended as follows: II. TERM AND COMMENCEMENT OF WORK The term of this agreement shall be for the period of July 1, 1996 through June 30, 1997. The term may be extended at City's option, if necessary, to complete work started during the Agreement period. The availability of funds depends upon the City's receiving its FY 1996- 97 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). Work reimbursable under this agreement shall not begin until the City issues a Notice to Proceed. IV. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES E. (3) County shall deliver to City within fifteen (15) days after execution of loan or grant documents, copies of homeowners' Project Summary, Certification Letter, and Itemization Statement.
