IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96 - 138 (2318/ 1019 ) <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING CHAPTER ONE OF TITLE 15, ARTICLE TWO, SECTION <br />15.1.200 AND 15.1.205 OF THE SAN LEANDRO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE RELATING <br />TO THE BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENTS RULES OF PROCEDURE <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does hereby RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />SECTION 1: Title 15 Chapter 1, Article 2, Section 15.1.200 of the San Leandro <br />Administrative Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Section 15.1.200: CHAIRPERSON. The presiding officer of the Board of Zoning <br />Adjustments shall be the Chairperson who shall be elected at the first regular meeting in <br />September of every year. The Chairperson shall preserve order and decorum at regular and <br />special meetings of the Board; shall state each question; shall announce decisions; shall decide <br />all questions of order subject to an appeal to the Board; shall vote on all questions. <br />SECTION 2: Title 15, Chapter 1, Article 2, Section 15.1.205 of the San Leandro <br />Administrative Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Section 15.1.205: VICE -CHAIRPERSON. The Vice -Chairperson of the Board shall be <br />elected annually at the first regular meeting in September of every year. The Vice -Chairperson <br />shall, in the absence of the Chairperson or upon the request of the Chairperson, serve as presiding <br />officer. <br />Introduced by Council Member Pol vorosa and passed and adopted this <br />19th day of August, 1996, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Council Members Galvan, Glaze, Loeffler, Lothrop, Polvorosa, Young; <br />Mayor Corbett ( 7 ) <br />NOES: None ( 0 ) <br />ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br />A <br />Attest: <br />cqu yn L.
