IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96- 166 (1120// - I�r, j <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A QUITCLAIM DEED <br />FOR A PORTION OF THE PROPERTY AT 1193 ALADDIN AVENUE, <br />AND APPURTENANT ACCESS EASEMENT, TO THE SAN LEANDRO <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY TO PERMIT INSTALLATION OF THE <br />MARINA BOULEVARD AUTO CENTER READER BOARD SIGN <br />Recitals <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has previously approved a letter of intent and <br />the form of the Disposition and Development Agreement between the San Leandro <br />Redevelopment Agency and the Batarse Family Trust for the development of the <br />Marina Boulevard Auto Center; and <br />WHEREAS, one of the key terms of both the letter of intent and Agreement <br />was the ability of the Batarse Family Trust to construct a reader board sign to <br />advertise the Auto Center; and <br />WHEREAS, the subject property on 1193 Aladdin Avenue is not currently in <br />use, and is not planned for future use, and is ideal for the location of such reader <br />board sign. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does <br />RESOLVE as follows: <br />That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the Quitclaim Deed to the <br />Redevelopment Agency for a portion of the property at 1193 Aladdin Avenue, and <br />the appurtenant access easement, a copy of which is attached hereto. <br />1 <br />
