04-Ala-112-0.5/0.6 <br />I-880/Davis Street Interchange <br />4250-238010 <br />District Agreement No. 4-1653-CAI <br />Document No. Ala-1-13453 <br />AMENDMENT 1 TO EXISTING <br />CONTRIBUTION AGREEMENT <br />This Amendment, entered into on February 3. 1997 <br />is between the State of California, acting by and through its <br />Department of Transportation, referred to herein as "STATE", and <br />CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />a body politic and a municipal <br />corporation of the State of <br />California, referred to herein as <br />"CITY". <br />RECITALS <br />(1) STATE and CITY, pursuant to Streets and Highways Code <br />Section 130, have entered into a Contribution Agreement (Document <br />No. Ala-1-13453) on February 20,1996, said Agreement defining the <br />terms and conditions of a project to relocate the southbound I-880 <br />entrance ramp, to modify the I-880 southbound exit ramp <br />intersection and signal at Davis Street, and to modify grading, <br />drainage and paving in order to allow the CITY'S future <br />construction of the West Gate Parkway extension to the south of <br />Davis Street, herein referred to in said Agreement and herein after <br />as "IMPROVEMENTS". <br />-1- <br />
