AMENDMENT TO SUBGRANTEE SERVICE AGREEMENT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS (EDEN COUNCIL FOR HOPE AND OPPORTUNITY (ECHO HOUSING)) THIS AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is made at San Leandro, California, as of June 16, 1997, by and between the CITY OF SAN LEANDRO, (the "City"), and Eden Council for Hope and Opportunity, (the "Subgrantee"). This Amendment is made in contemplation of the following facts, understandings and intentions of the parties: A. On June 17, 1996, the City and Subgrantee entered into an Agreement ("Agreement") pertaining to Fair Housing, Rental Assistance Program, and Tenant/Landlord Counseling for the City of San Leandro, for the time period corresponding to the City's 1996-97 Fiscal Year, with an amount certain ($33,089), as agreed to in said Agreement. B. The City desires to amend the Agreement to expand the Scope of Services provided by Subgrantee to include the 1997-98 Fiscal Year, July 1, 1997 through June 30, 1998, and to correspondingly increase the total amount of payment. NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: 1. EXHIBIT A, Scope of Services, shall be amended as follows: a) " The Subgrantee shall provide the following service for the extended time period of July 1, 1997 through June 30, 1998." 2. EXHIBIT B, Payment Schedule, shall be amended as follows: "City shall pay Subgrantee an amount not to exceed the total sum of Seventy One Thousand Three Hundred Seventy Six Dollars ($71,376) for services performed pursuant to this Agreement." "Said maximum includes previously approved allocations of Thirty Three Thousand Eighty Nine Dollars ($33,089) plus additional funds under this amendment of Thirty Eight Thousand Two Hundred Eighty Seven Dollars ($38,287) and is the total for all services provided." 3. In all other respects the Agreement is hereby ratified, confirmed and shall continue in full force and effect. Amendment to Agreement Page 1 of 2
