E=BIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />1. AGREEMENT TERM. The term of this agreement shall be for the period of July 1, 1997 through <br />June 30, 1998 or until all CDBG/Community Assistance funds authorized by this agreement are expended. <br />2. USE OF FUNDS. The CDBG/Community Assistance funds approved under this Agreement shall <br />only be used in paying service related fees. <br />3. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. The services to be provided are the following: <br />The service goals to individuals, couples, and families shall include: 1) Assistance through crises or <br />transitions by increasing problem -solving, coping and stress management skills; 2) Facilitation to <br />improve family communication to promote healthy child development and family functioning; 3) <br />Education regarding effective child management techniques; 4) Referral to other services as <br />appropriate (e.g., medication evaluation, self-help groups, stress hotlines, etc.); 5) Providing <br />community education and advocacy to support the needs of families under stress. <br />4.
