IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.98 - 25 (1980 ) <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FILING OF A CLAIM WITH <br />THE METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION (MTC) <br />FOR ALLOCATION OF TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT <br />ACT (TDA) ARTICLE 3 FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1998-99 <br />WHEREAS, the Transportation Development Act (TDA), provides for <br />disbursement of funds from the Local Transportation Fund of the County of Alameda for <br />use by eligible claimants for the purpose of pedestrian and/or bicycle projects; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the transportation development act and <br />pursuant to the applicable rules and regulations thereunder, a prospective claimant <br />wishing to receive an allocation from the Local Transportation Fund shall file its claim <br />with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro is an eligible claimant for TDA funds <br />pursuant to PUC Section 99234; and <br />WHEREAS, TDA funds from the Local Transportation fund of Alameda County <br />will be required by claimant in fiscal year 1998-99, for the installation of bike routes and <br />bike lanes, and the design of a bike path. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does <br />RESOLVE as follows: <br />That said City Council hereby authorizes the Director of the Department of <br />Engineering and Transportation or his designee to execute and file an appropriate TDA <br />
