ARTICLE XIX <br />NOTICES <br />Section 19.1 Notices <br />Whenever Landlord or Tenant gives or serves upon the other any notice, demand, <br />request, or other communication with respect to this Lease or with respect to the Premises, <br />each such notice, demand, request, or other communication shall be in writing and shall not <br />be effective for any purpose unless it is given or served by telecopy, personal delivery, or by <br />mailing the same to such party or parties by certified or registered mail, postage prepaid, <br />return receipt requested, or equivalent private delivery service addressed as follows: <br />If to Landlord: City Manager <br />City of San Leandro <br />835 East 14th Street <br />San Leandro CA 94577 <br />Att: John Jermanis <br />with a copy to: Office of the City Attorney <br />Meyers, Nave, Riback, Silver & Wilson <br />777 Davis Street, Suite 300 <br />San Leandro CA 94577 <br />Att: Steven R.
