o Work with the Economic Development Advisory Committee as the body <br />appointed to advise the City Council on matters related to economic development. <br />Contractor will meet with the EDAC a minimum of three times to review: Process <br />for development of the Marketing Plan, analysis of relevant data and interviews, <br />draft Marketing Plan and City icon/logo. <br />o Attend a minimum of two public meetings to review the draft Marketing with the <br />San Leandro business and residential community. <br />For the development of the Strategic Marketing Plan and City icon/logo the Contractor <br />will receive an amount not to exceed $40,000. <br />Marketing Brochure <br />The Contractor will produce the first marketing brochure to be accomplished by the <br />Strategic Marketing Plan. The Contractor will provide graphic design, write all text, and <br />print a minimum of 5,000 brochures for an amount not to exceed $20,000. <br />The total compensation, including all reimbursable expenses, for the development of the <br />Strategic Marketing Plan, icon/logo development, and first marketing brochure will not <br />exceed $60,000. <br />Deliverables <br />Deliverables or products to be obtained within the scope of the contract include: <br />o A report updating relevant economic indicators identified in the City's <br />Economic Development Strategy. <br />o A report summarizing and analyzing interviews with a minimum of <br />25 key San Leandro stake holders. <br />o Development of a City icon/logo. <br />o Development of a Strategic Marketing Plan that includes but is not limited <br />to: <br />o Identification of target audiences <br />o Identification of geographical areas in which to solicit target <br />audiences. <br />o Development of appropriate marketing messages for each targeted <br />audience. <br />o Development of marketing strategies for each targeted audience. <br />o Identification of frequency at which marketing strategies should be <br />implemented. <br />o Development of an initial marketing brochure. <br />o Contractor will meet with EDAC a minimum of three times. <br />o Contractor will attend a minimum of two public meetings. <br />o Contractor will meet with staff as necessary. <br />Exhibit A Page 2 of 2 <br />
