S <br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-103 (1007 ) <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />(PORTION OF PIKE AVENUE - APPROXIMATELY 395 FEET ± WEST OF WICKS <br />BOULEVARD TO GRIFFITH STREET) <br />Recitals <br />The City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That the City Council hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Title V, Chapter 4, <br />of the San Leandro Municipal Code of 1985, and Part 3, Division 9, Streets and Highway Code. <br />It is the intention of the City Council to vacate a portion of Pike Avenue. Said Pike <br />Avenue is a public street in the City of San Leandro, Alameda County, California, officially <br />known and designated as such. The portion of the street so proposed to be vacated and <br />abandoned is described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto, and made a part hereof. <br />These proceedings are made subject to the reservation and exception, until such time as all <br />utilities are relocated outside the area proposed to be reserved and excepted, of easement and <br />rights -of -way to construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove, renew and enlarge sanitary <br />sewers, storm drains and public utility services now existing in a portion of said area, more <br />precisely described in Exhibit "A", including all necessary and convenient appurtenant structures <br />and incidental purposes thereto, including access. <br />7; 00 <br />Notice is hereby given that on September 2, 1997, at-= p.m. in the Council Chambers of <br />the City Council of said City, 835 East 14th Street, San Leandro, California, any and all persons <br />having any objections to the proposed vacation may appear before said council and show cause <br />why said proposed vacation should not be ordered. <br />
