(h) Insofar as possible, noisy operations shall be performed off -site or on portions of the <br />site distant from residential neighborhoods. <br />(i) All construction contracts shall include the following requirements: 1) Unpaved <br />construction sites shall be sprinkled with water at least twice per day, 2) trucks hauling <br />construction materials shall be covered with tarpaulins or other effective covers, 3) streets <br />surrounding demolition and construction sites shall be swept at least once per day, and 4) paving <br />and planting shall be done as soon as possible. City shall charge applicant, and applicant shall pay, <br />for all costs of sweeping city streets in the vicinity of the project as necessary to control dust and <br />spillage. <br />0) All construction contracts shall include requirements that construction equipment <br />avoid unnecessary idling to reduce CO, ROG and NO, emissions. <br />(k) In the event that archaeological or historical resources are discovered during <br />excavation/grading, work shall be suspended and a qualified archaeologist or historian shall be <br />hired at Subdivider's expense to examine the findings and to recommend appropriate mitigation. <br />Said mitigation shall be reviewed and approved by the Planning Commission and City Council. <br />(1) All fill material imported to the project site shall be tested for toxicity. The <br />applicant shall submit the results of such testing to the City. Fill material which has toxicity levels <br />in excess of permissible local, state or federal levels shall not be used on the project site. <br />(m) All metal fences and ancillary structures in the right-of-way and in close proximity <br />to the transmission lines shall be grounded, in accordance with applicable specifications, to <br />eliminate potential electric shocks.
