IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-132 <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN DEPOSITORIES <br />AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING SPECIFIED CITY OFFICIALS TO REMIT <br />MONEY IN THE CITY TREASURY TO THE STATE TREASURY FOR <br />DEPOSIT IN THE LOCAL AGENCY INVESTMENT FUND <br />The City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That the Finance Director and the Assistant Finance Director are hereby authorized <br />and directed to deposit all funds coming into their hands into any one or more of the following <br />depositories: <br />Bank of America N.T. & S. A. <br />First Trust of California <br />2. That if the Finance Director or the Assistant Finance Director determines that City <br />(1264) <br />fluids should be deposited in the Local Agency Investment Fund of the State of California, the City of <br />San Leandro, a Charter City, hereby agrees to deposit or withdraw such monies in the Local Agency <br />Investment Fund of the State Treasury in accordance with the provisions of Article H (commencing <br />with Section 16429.1) of Chapter 2 of Part 2 of Division 4 of Title 2 of the Government Code of the <br />State of California. The following City officials are hereby authorized to determine if there is money <br />in the City treasury not required for the immediate needs of the City and to remit such money to the <br />State Treasurer for deposit in the Local Agency Investment Fund and to determine the length of time <br />such monies will be on deposit and to withdraw such money from the State Treasury: Tim Hansen, <br />Finance Director; James H. O'Leary, Assistant Finance Director. The name and address to be used in <br />conununications with the State Treasurer for purposes of this resolution is as follows: <br />
