IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 138 (2830 ) <br />RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO DURANGO PIPELINE, INC. <br />FOR STORM DRAIN CONSTRUCTION - VARIOUS LOCATIONS - MERCED STREET TO <br />WILLIAMS STREET; DUTTON AVENUE -SUPERIOR AVENUE TO ST. MARY AVENUE <br />PROJECT NO.96-58-115 <br />Recitals <br />The City of San Leandro did, on October 14, 1997, publicly open, examine and declare all <br />sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 97-121 of the Council of <br />said City adopted on September 15, 1997, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a <br />description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said resolution. <br />Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br />recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br />work. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br />mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br />bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder <br />therefor, to wit: Durango Pipeline, Inc., at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office of the <br />City Clerk. <br />Introduced by Council Member Glaze and passed and adopted this 20th <br />day of October, 1997, by the following called vote: <br />
