SAN LEANDRO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE <br />TITLE 12 PUBLIC WORKS <br />Chapter 5 Uniform Wastewater Discharge <br />Regulations <br />(h) Reference is made to the City's "Procedures and Policies for Sewer Connection Fees" <br />on file with the City Clerk and incorporated herein by this reference. <br />12 5 120• WASTEWATER DISCHARGE PERMITS. <br />(a) Reference is made to the Uniform Wastewater Discharge Regulations previously <br />adopted by the City of San Leandro and on file with the City Clerk. All references <br />herein to "Regulations" shall be to the aforementioned regulations. <br />(b) The Regulations require that Critical Users, as defined in Section 3-11-500 of the <br />Regulations, connected to or discharging into the City sewer must obtain an <br />Environmental Compliance Permit. <br />(c) The permit form contained herein shall be the form used. Specific permit conditions <br />for individual applicants are to be attached to the form. Section 3-11-525 of the <br />Regulations lists permit conditions. <br />(d) Applications for the Environmental Compliance Permit will be kept on file in the <br />office of the San Leandro Water Pollution Control Plant. Critical Users shall be issued <br />a permit upon completion of the application. The applicant shall be required to <br />complete the applications within (15) working days. <br />(e) Upon receipt of the completed application, City staff will schedule an inspection of <br />each applicant's facility. This will verify and complete the information provided on <br />the application. <br />(f) Current Critical Users shall not be charged an application fee for the initial <br />Environmental Compliance Permit. Upon renewal of the permit, an application fee as <br />set forth in the City's "Procedures and Policies for Sewer Connection Fees", on file <br />with the City Clerk and incorporated herein by this reference, shall be charged. All <br />new users who connect to or discharge to the City sewer as of January 1986 shall pay <br />the application fee as set forth in the City's "Procedure and Policies for Sewer <br />Connection Fees", on file with the City Clerk and incorporated herein by this <br />reference. <br />(g) A condition of any Environmental Compliance Permit shall be the requirement that the <br />permittee pre -treat the wastewater to acceptable limits for conventional pollutants and <br />8/12/98 11 <br />
