IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2022-118 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH HF&H CONSULTANTS, LLC FOR SB 1383 SUPPORT THROUGH DUNE 30, 2023 FOR A TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF $184,485.00 AND APPROVE AN APPROPRIATION OF $109,560.00 INTO ACCOUNT 594-41-205 AND AN APPROPRIATION OF $17,055.00 INTO ACCOUNT 594-41-207 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023 WHEREAS, on May 1, 2022, the City Manager entered into an agreement for $49,000 between the City of San Leandro and HF&H Consultants, LLC, for SB 1383 support services for Fiscal Year 2021-2022; and WHEREAS, HF&H provides the City's administration with critical assistance to implement programs and services in compliance with SB 1383 regulations; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to continue its relationship with HF&H Consultants, LLC for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 in an amount not to exceed $135,486.00 for a total contract amount of $184,485.00; and WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro received SB 1383 Local Assistance Grant Program Funding in the amount of $115,507.00 per City Council Resolution No. 2022-037; and WHEREAS, an appropriation in the amount of $109,560.00 in account 594-41-205 and an appropriation of $17,055.00 in account 594-41-207 from designated fund balance for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 is required; and WHEREAS, HF&H Consultants, LLC has agreed to the terms of the contract amendment pending Council approval; and WHEREAS the City Council is familiar with the contents of the contract amendment; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said contract amendment. NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council hereby RESOLVES as follows: That the Recitals above are true and correct and made a part of this Resolution; and That said amendments to the agreement are hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and That said appropriations are approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
