IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO.2022-125 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH CSW/STUBER-STROEH ENGINEERING GROUP, INC. FOR ON -CALL CIVIL ENGINEERING AND LAND SURVEYING SERVICES IN AN AMOUNT NOT -TO -EXCEED $200,000 FOR THREE YEARS WHEREAS, the Engineering and Transportation Department Project Development and Land Development Divisions provide engineering services for public projects and private land development projects; and WHEREAS, the Engineering and Transportation Department seeks to provide timely and efficient service to residents, visitors, other City departments, and private land developers; and WHEREAS, staff issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeking civil engineering and land surveying consulting firms to assist with engineering projects as needed; and WHEREAS, after reviewing RFQ responses from five consultants, staff recommends that CSW/Stuber-Stroeh Engineering Group, Inc. should be one of three consultants to be retained to provide on -call consulting services in an amount not to exceed $200,000 for a period of three years; and WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to enter into a Consulting Services Agreement between the City and CSW/Stuber-Stroeh Engineering Group, Inc., copies of which are attached and presented to this City Council; and WHEREAS, a blanket purchase order will be requested for the Consultant. Consultant costs will be charged either to projects in the Capital Improvement Program or as a direct cost to land developers applying for entitlements or permits; and WHEREAS, CSW/Stuber-Stroeh Engineering Group, Inc. has agreed to the terms of the contract pending Council approval; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council hereby RESOLVES as follows: That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
