ACTIA 2002-26.01 <br />EXHIBIT "A" <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />Project Description: <br />• ACTIA PROJECT No. 11 — Washington Avenue Interchange project provides local <br />improvements to Beatrice Street and the Washington Avenue Interchange in San Leandro <br />by constructing a signalized intersection at the Beatrice Street/southbound on and off - <br />ramp intersection and widening of the off -ramp and Beatrice Street. <br />• ACTIA PROJECT No. 17 — HeMerian Boulevard/Lewelling Avenue Widening project <br />will add one southbound lane on Hesperian Boulevard to facilitate a right turn lane and <br />re -stripe eastbound Lewelling Avenue to provide dual left turn lanes at Hesperian <br />Boulevard. ACTIA funds are eligible for environmental studies, final design, right-of- <br />way acquisition, advertisement, award and administration of construction contract, <br />construction, and design services during construction. <br />• ACTIA PROJECT No. 18 - Westgate Extension project will extend Westgate from Davis <br />Street to Williams Street along the eastern edge of the Westgate Shopping Center. <br />Timothy Drive within the Westgate Shopping Center will be eliminated and returned to <br />shopping center parking. ACTIA funds are eligible for final design, right-of-way <br />acquisition, utility relocation, advertisement, award and administration of construction <br />contract, construction, and design services during construction. <br />• ACTIA PROJECT No. 19 - E. 10' Street/Hesperian Boulevard/150th Avenue project will <br />provide an additional northbound lane on Hesperian Boulevard at E. 10 Street, a dual <br />northbound left turn lane at E. 14th Street, a southbound left turn lane on Bancroft Avenue <br />at E. 14th Street and a northbound left turn lane on E. 14th Street at Hesperian Boulevard. <br />ACTIA funds are eligible for environmental studies, final design, right-of-way <br />acquisition, utility relocation, advertisement, award and administration of construction <br />contract, construction, and design services during construction. <br />Page A-1 <br />
