IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2002-135 (26 3 9 / 2 9 30 ) <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATION OF MEASURE B FUNDS FOR THE <br />I-880/WASHINGTON AVENUE INTERCHANGE PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, as part of the 2002-03 budget, Measure B appropriations were made for <br />three approved projects; and <br />WHEREAS, the I-880/Washington Avenue Interchange project was approved by <br />Alameda County voters as a part of the reauthorization of Measure B in November of 2000; and <br />WHEREAS, in anticipation of the I-880/Washington Avenue Interchange project being <br />constructed with Caltrans SHOPP funds, in lieu of Measure B funds, this project was not <br />included in this years CIP budget; and <br />WHEREAS, Caltrans proposals did not meet the needs of the community, Measure B <br />funds will be used to supplement the Caltrans SHOPP funds for design and construction of off - <br />ramp modifications, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That $1,410,000 of Measure B funds be appropriated for the I-880/Washington Avenue <br />Interchange (Beatrice Street) project. <br />Introduced by Council Member Glaze <br />this 16th day of September 2002, by the following called vote: <br />and passed and adopted <br />
