SAN LEANDRO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE <br />TITLE 22 RECREATION AND PARKS COMMISSION <br />Chapter 1 Rules of Order Procedure <br />ARTICLE 2—OFFICERS <br />422.1.200: CHAIR . The presiding officer of the Commission shall be the <br />Chairperson, who shall be elected a the first regular meeting in Jul�of every year. The <br />Chairperson shall preserve order and decorum at regular and special meetings of the <br />Commission; He shall state each question; shall announce the decisions; and shall decide all <br />questions of order subject to an appeal to the Commission; He shall vote on all questions -,-his <br />their name being ealled last.; shall appoint all committees; and shall generally perform the duties <br />of a.presiding officer. <br />422.1.205: VICE CHAIRFEACSON. The Vice Chairperson of the Commission shall be <br />elected annually at the first regular meeting in Jul <br />X of everYyear. The Vice Chair shall preside <br />in the absence of the Chairperson or at upon the request of the Ch ' , <br />e€fsef. In the event of the absence of the <br />Chairperson and the Vice Chairperson or their self inability to act, the <br />Commissioners present shall elect from their membership a Chairperson Pro Tem to serve during <br />such temporary absence. Upon the -aria€ In the event the Chairperson or Vice Chairperson <br />shall arrive late, the Chairperson Pro Tem shall relinquish the chair upon conclusion of the <br />business then pending before the Commission. <br />422.1.215: LIMIT OF TERM. No member of the Commission shall serve more than one <br />(0 two 2 successive full terms of one (1) year as Chairperson or Vice Chairperson of the <br />Commission provided that this limitation may be waived upon a finding of good cause, by an <br />affirmative vote of a ma 'ority of the members of the Commission. <br />422.1.220: SECRETARY. The Seeretary te the Commissien shall be the Reereatien and <br />The Secretary of the Commission, <br />appointed by the Recreation and Human Services Directorshall keep all minutes, prepare the <br />agenda, and furnish all members of the Commission with a copy of the agenda, plus copies of all <br />correspondence and other papers related to items appearing on the agenda; and shall follow all <br />legal noticing requirements.
