Discussion Regarding Strengthening Municipal Code Related to Community Standards <br />In deference to the members of the audience, Chair Badger took Item 2 out of order. <br />City Manager Jermanis gave background on some of the compliance issues which prompted <br />the review of the City's Community Standards. <br />Community Relations Representative Kathy Ornelas reported on the adoption of a recent <br />ordinance which allows more expeditious enforcement of the City's Code Enforcement <br />Ordinance. Ms. Ornelas indicated that in consultation with the City Attorney, staff is looking <br />into the following issues, among others: <br />• Commercial vehicles parked on residential property <br />• Storage of materials in vehicles <br />• People living in mobile homes parked on private property <br />• Vehicles parked for sale on City streets <br />• Recreational vehicles parked in the public right-of-way <br />
