BACON, BECORUER <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY <br />O'IRLAND, CALIF011"418 <br />THEODORE Le ROY <br />TO <br />TOWN 01-T 31'11 LE MR0 <br />THIS INDENTURE I,da.de the 12th day of January <br />in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight <br />Hundred and Eighty-two, <br />HETWEEN THEODORE Le ROY of the City and <br />County of San Francisco, State of California, the party of the <br />first part and THE TOKI OF SAN LEANDRO, a body politic and <br />corporate under said name in the County of Alameda, State afore- <br />said, party of the second part; <br />WITNESSETH: That the said party of the first part, for and <br />in consideration of the sum of Eight Hundred Dollars, gold coin <br />of the United States of America to him in hand paid by the said <br />party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowl- <br />edged, has granted, bargained, sold and conveyed and by these <br />presents does grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said party <br />of the second part, and to its successors and assigns forever all <br />that certain piece or parcel of land situate and being in the said <br />Town of San Leandro, bounded and described as follows, to -wit: <br />BEGINNING at the intersection of the Northwesterly line of <br />Ward Street with the North Easterly line of ?'Vatkins Street <br />and running thence North Westerly along said line of <br />Watkins Street One hundred and Ninety-seven (197) feet to <br />the intersection of said line with the South Westerly line <br />of the County road leading to Haywards; thence South Easterly <br />along said line of sa-d County Road tl,;,o hundred and nine <br />(209? feet, four (4) inches to the North Westerly line of <br />the said award Street- thence South Westerly along said line <br />of Ward Street Sixty-eight (68) feet, three (3) inches to <br />the place of beginning. <br />TOGETHER with all and singular the tenements,hereditament: <br />hand appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in anywise appertaining <br />land the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents, <br />tissues and profits thereof. <br />TO HAVE AND TO HOLD all and singular the said premises, <br />together with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second <br />1part, and to its successors and assigns forever. <br />(1) <br />
