DOTE 1: - -'o examination .nacle as to Town of San Leandro Taxes or <br />`street Assessments. <br />NOTE 2:- On Aril 25, 1904, the title to the premises under search <br />was vested in Luiza Garcia, also called Louisa Garcia. <br />In Liber 2374 of Deeds, at page 356, appears a deed of gift from <br />Luiza Enos ( formerly Luiza Garcia) to I.1anuel H. Garcia, Joseph H. <br />Garcia and Frank H. Garcia, dated April 25, 1904 and recorded October 11, <br />1915, which contains ti:e following description: "Commencing at a point <br />on the South .d�esterly line of the Co-xfty Road leading from San Leandro <br />to Oakland, distant thereon 3 62-2 chains South Easterly from the <br />Nlortherl7T corner of the tract of land conveyed by Ignacio Peralta to <br />..aria A. Toler, by deed dated June 18th, 1856 and recorded in the <br />office of the County Recorder of said Alameda County in Liber "E" of <br />Deeds, at page '-374, and running at right angles from said County <br />Road South 5?° 55' est 27 56 chains; thence South 31° 05' East <br />3 62 ti chains to the Southern line of said County road; and thence <br />along said line of said road North S1° C5' ': est 3 62 ;l chains to the <br />point of coim-encement. Containing 10 acres more or less". Said <br />description is defective in that the point of beginning therein given <br />is indefinite and uncertain; furthermore, the third course is omitted <br />and the second course -runs South '01' 05' East 3 622 chains to the <br />Southern line of said County Road, and hence does not include the <br />hereinafter described premises. <br />In said purported deed, said Luiza Enos reserved to herself a <br />life estate in said premises. <br />On 1 ovember 22, 1915 the petition of '. anuel H. Garcia for decree <br />terminating the life estate of said Luiza Enos, formerly Luiza Garcia, <br />was filed in the Superior Court of Alameda County, said petition <br />alleging that said Luiza -Mos died Iiovember 12, 1915. Thereafter <br />on December 10, 1915, order was entered terminating said life estate. <br />
